At our Academia, we offer an innovative approach to learning English where children and adults learn through various methods including Total Physical Response (TPR), practical activities, Information Technology and games.
- TPR is a method developed to aid learning another language where children respond to commands that require physical movements such as “Sit down”, “Stand up”, “Clap your hands”, etc.
- Practical Activities where children will be using useful life skills that will enhance everyday life, while learning English, such as number recognition, drawing, painting, role-play, motor skills, sensory play (touch, sight, listening, exploration)
- Information Technology: Using one of the latest Interactive Whiteboards, children will be able to learn how to interact with computers, without using a mouse, preparing them for future technology.
- Educational Games: An element of fun must be brought to learning so that children are unaware that they are actually learning! Games would include number recognition games, learning colour games, songs to learn an extensive vocabulary, etc.
